How Did You Start Motive After Tivoli?
Four of the five founders were ex-Tivoli. Motive was an outgrowth of our beliefs that everything would be connected on the internet someday and that service would be delivered primarily over the internet rather than the telephone. We had come off a pretty big success. It's kind of quaint to think about who would we like to work with in Silicon Valley.
