The Apollinian and the De-Initiant

The aim of the de-initiant ritual and the Buddhist meditative practice is the same. Both at least according to Nietzsche interpreting Buddhism through Shopenhauer, actually sees the same underlying tendency in the de- initiant as in the Buddhist Buddhist culture. And so it's very clear to me that in some sense, the Buddhist culture is the one that has the greater proportion of thede-initiant. This is what he says makes it a tragic culture.
