Lambda at Edge Functions
Lambda at Edge functions for viewer requests have to complete within five seconds. So if there's any latency whatsoever getting to like DynamoDB or getting to systems manager parameter store to get secrets, you could be in trouble. The service that I'm building is essentially entirely latency focused from an architecture perspective and so far it hasn't been a problem. But this is the same case with Cloudflare. There are two dimensions that are pretty limiting right now with Edge functions in general, not just AWS.
