What Is a Difficult Bomb?
A dirty bomb is essentially a conventional explosive packed with radioactive material such as medical waste. It could also be nuclear power station waste, spent fuel, for example. Most countries will have medical isotopes. So what they're trying to say now is that it's not a nuclear bomb as such, but a radioactive bomb that they could use. And the fear is then that they would use that to say that Ukraine has used such a weapon,. maybe use such a weapon themselves as what we call a false flag event.
