The word converb was invented for some Mongolian language, I believe. In older literature, they get called all sorts of horrible things like Jaron and, and, you know, this kind of thing and that kind of thing. So the old fashioned naming, I think people are settling on converb, even if they disagree about margins,. You know, thing peripheral phenomena, but I'm okay with that because it makes it easier to talk about.
