The Rusted Hook
The hook was purchased for 56 cents in 1921. Over the course of 100 years, it wore down little by little with every wind storm and rainstorm. Pichini at this point is not sending people into the towers to inspect them very closely. And until the hook finally gave way, dropped the wire, an arc of electricity surge from the wire to the tower sparks that'll then dry brush. Within an hour, the fire was completely out of control.
