Is There a Gold Confiscation?
With gold, you know, most Americans until today, they don't even realize that there was a gold confiscation that took place in 1934. Possession of the gold is already centralized in institutions that are regulated by the government and the central bank. And so taking it over is a pretty straightforward thing compared to the situation with Bitcoin, where it is already massively distributed over many, many owners. It's going to be even greater unchannled frustration to say that at least I'm going to settle this through confiscating gold or through confiscating digital money. But if I can’t do that, then you actually resort to the backstop of raw physical force, not through physical possession
