If the vaccine won't arrive for another year or two, then what's the point of it? I mean, this is quite a good question. One answer is that pandemics do sometimes take longer they cand there can be several wayes. The were several waves with the 19 18 spanish flue. Another answer is, if this does end up being a seasonal problem, if it ends up becoming endemic and just part of our lives, then we'll need a vaccine. We don't know at this stage.
