Many people have thought or do think that liberalism is sort of at its core a kind of neutrality. And I actually want in our discussion today to get into some, basically some of the objections sort of to the idea that liberalism should or could be neutral. The more we see adverbial rules characterizing how people lead their lives and the less often we have state institutions telling people what to do than the more liberal freedom we have according to this worldview.
