Are We More Conscious Than Goddesses?

Carl Jung said Job is a horrible story that this poor man, he's sat upon by every horrible event and malady that any human being could ever survive. And yet there is this force that seems largely unconscious that is somehow planning to be more powerful than humans. In a way, the technology is evoking that story for a lot of people. Or that it's sort of bringing it up back into our cultural awareness.
