Christian, i think if you found yourself in a tailspin of just thinking the absolute worst about your husband or wife, the first thing you'd need to do is go, ok, where am i? Where am i marinating in those messages? Who's reinforcing that for me in an unhelpful way? And stop doing that. Stop listening to those voices. Cut off those connections, that media, whatever it might be, to just stop the inflow of tocin. Then as that begins to decrease, maybe you can begin to build a connection that fosters a positive outlook on that other person. In this case, i we're talking political differences.
