The Importance of Balance in AI and Machine Learning
I think there are issues with black boxiness of models that we develop. We really want to be able to explain our models and why they've come to a decided decision. But as long as we can sure that they make a prediction, they do it the same way every time. Or we can be confident in their behavior then we can kind of control or mitigate against that. And so, it's really kind of a case of finding a balance between the risk and the benefit.
