Are You Playing a Game?
In this context, most importantly, it's a social practice that you can't definitively say these are the rules of the game. And so to try to have a rational conversation as if you're in the same universe of discourse is just misguided. The key point is that if somebody literally contravenes one of these quote unquoterules of the game, then they're playing a different game. It's a completely different thing that they're doing.
