I think what Paul was trying to do is either let an inflation spiral happen or break the economy. He would rather that than an inflation spiral. And I think if you look at those two situations, actually, it's quite good for Bitcoin. An inflation spiral period, then being a fixed supply asset price and dollars, that should be very good for Bitcoin too. The long tail in a recession is going to suffer.
