Should TikTok Get Banned?
FCC commissioner Brendan Carr said this week that the US government should ban TikTok. Because China owns TikTok, he thinks that the Chinese Communist Party effectively has on demand access to your data. 25% of Americans under 30 are already getting our news from TikTok. It's scary to think that China can control the levers of the news that Americans consume.
