Utilizing Amateur Radio Technology to Track Flight MH370

A retired aerospace engineer uses WISPA technology to track the missing flight MH370 by analyzing radio frequency disturbances. He aims to create a global network of radio signals to map out the potential flight path of the plane.

found? We spoke to retired British aerospace engineer called Richard Gutfrey, he worked in the past for NASA, Boeing companies of that sought in their aeronautical space and he took a different approach. He thought that some technology which is not designed to track planes could be used in this instance to track how much 370. So the technology is called WISPA, it's an acronym that stands for Weak Signal Propagation Reporter and is used by amateur radio enthusiasts around the world to help them find available radio frequencies which they can use to communicate with each other and what Richard Gutfrey thinks is that because these are radio frequencies that would be disturbed, he believes if the plane crosses those parts in that area in the part of the world which he looked into the southern Indian nation he might be able to identify the disturbances from the database, plot them onto a map and therefore by joining the dots design what could have been the last flying path of image 370 up until the point where image the 2017 miter

crash. You can imagine a huge fisherman's net across the globe full of radio signals and every time an aircraft passes through this net it sort of breaks a hole in the net and you know exactly where the aircraft was because you know you now got a hole in the net at a particular point. I record these WISPA signals, I record the anomalies both in the signal level and signal frequency and that tells me where an aircraft was at a particular time.
