The Impact of the Birth Control Movement on Minority and Poorer Women
Once black women's childbearing no longer produce children who were innately enslaveable, it was no longer necessarily profitable to white people and to racial capitalism. I want to make it clear though that that doesn't mean that they couldn't be profitable,. They couldn't be forced to work because immediately after it's civil war, former white enslavers is part of the effort to effectively re-inslave black people.
