The 80-20 Framework for Nutrition

When you Google the 80-20 rule for nutrition, it's usually phrased as something like eat nutritionally or nutriciously 80% of the time and allow yourself to indulge in healthy foods for the remaining 20% of your meals. "Time and number of meals don't really drive weight health and performance goals," he says. And so when we're talking about these nutrition outcomes that we want, it's going to be centered around calories, macronutrients and micronutrients, not percent of meals.
