The Child Is a Human Good

Fr. Me: Infertility is not to be denied as a problem, but if you address it in disordered ways, all you do is end up creating more disorder. I am working with a couple who were Catholic converts that went through, first adopted, then had some children through the IVF process. They subsequently understood, came to the same knowledge that I have now, but they have the children. So understanding that although they know they didn't follow the right path in having those children, they have those children. And they are a human good. You should never blame them. A gift can only be accepted.
