Immigrant Welfare - Is Social Security the Largest Program?

Immigration isn't a priority for Republicans in Congress right now. They are focused on other issues related to debt, deficits and current and spending levels. The largest program we include is Social Security benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, disability, TANF, and WIC. Altogether, those programs constitute the vast majority of all welfare spending in the United States.
