If we talk too much about pop culture in relation to collapse, there's a risk of appearing to be out of touch with reality. We don't want to give folks the idea that we're just living in this fantasy world where we watch too many movies and we think that reality itself is the movie. And I think actually if we do it amongst ourselves within the collapse of where community, it's fine. So long as you're doing it just for fun. If you'redoing it to actually try to predict for yourself, then that's also an issue. The problem is on communities such as the collapse subreddit on Reddit, the conversations are public and people can see that.
