There is really no such thing as eliminating a habit, you simply substitute a good one for a bad one. The psychologists say that it's important to have a new activity or habit to fill the void when you start shedding old habits. In other words, don't be unwise in your habits, but rather pire to maturity and wisdom and keep your mind well and emotions focused on positive ideas.
