Introduction
Many in the tradition have given an affirmative answer to this question. The identification of the two is far from universally made and continues to be a matter of debate. In arguing for the identification, i believe that a cumulative case is the strongest. Such an identification based not upon just detached proof texts, but the bringing together of various lines of biblical argumentation can be quite a strong one.
