How to Update Your Maps and Thunder Forest With Open Street Map

Open Street Map is an icon in terms of the geospatial world anyway. We know that it gets thousands of edits a day. How do you ingest those edits in your products and how do you update them? So we take a feed from Open Street Map. The foundation publishes every 60 seconds, a little snapshot of all the data that's been added to Open Street Map in the last 60 seconds. And so we take all these little diff updates, bundle them up and apply them to our systems. That then kicks off a process of refreshing our maps and our customers get to see the updates a few hours later.
