The Indoctrination Theory of Mass Effect

The indoctrination theory is the idea that Shepard up into this point had been so in contact with the Reapers. In Mass Effect 3 it showcased he was having visions, nightmares,. He was getting paranoid, the whole world like the stress. And then so the theory was that throughout the game he was actually being influenced by the Reapers and that the ending was something where his judgement was being thrown off.
