Maker DAU Core Unit Model

The Maker DAU core unit model is one of the few examples of successful crypto protocols that function entirely without one single core team being mostly responsible. I think again for good or for bad there are many different core units that work in collaboration but also in competition with each other so I think the model has its naysayers but there's a lot to be said for it as well. It was always part of their roadmap that they wanted to work towards their own dissolution and basically putting everything into the hands of MKR holders and governance on chain.
