The Microbiology of the Earth

We are a big collection of billions of little organisms all working together create this human body. So i'm dubious about our ability to live on another planet as we are. Even if everything was the same, it's that miniscul microscopic stuff that could really be different. If you want to make an earthling living somewhere else, whether it's in a habitat on the international space station or a habitat on mars, we will essentially have to foster an environment that has micro organisms. Evolution just takes over, and life goes where it goes, based on environment.
