Is There a Big Switch That You Can't Flip in the Factory?
DMK does try to stay out of the sectarian battles, but we wage those battles as proxy wars. Marshall: Lenin was quite enamored by Taylorism, that's kind of scientific management. He says there is no big switch that you can turn in the factory and nobody thought to turn it on to communism. DMK: arresting capitalist production alone is not enough; a revolution incapable of posing an alternative mode of producing goods will quickly die off.
