Is There Such a Feasibility Between Asceticism and Hedonism?

In some ways, what you're doing in getting yourself in touch with nature is your identifying yourself. Not as this little fleeting being that is born and then dies, but with this larger system of nature. That sounds very much like ancient greek philosopher heraclitus. And so if you are ultimately changing the flow of reality, it's not about becoming an ascetic priest or a sages over men. But i think there are these sort of retreats where people try to be chickasshing and someway get away from themselves.
