Debugging Can Be Ugly, but It Generates Good Code

The code generated by C++ has always been ugly, because there's these inherent optimizations. The way a really good handcrafted optimizer human could generate it was not meant for humans. And with templates, it gets much worse still. So the idea is to drag in information from different parts of the code to generate good code and that's not readable. But anyway, turn off the optimizer and you can debug. First level of debugging can be done, and I always do without the optimization on.
