The Impact of Xenophon's Annabasis on Greek History
The story itself exists, it starts in Asia Minor and moves southeast into the heart of the Persian Empire at its height. It then moves north into what is now Armenia and then up to the Black Sea. The geographic context will kind of cover the impact that has on the individuals - which is very much my love as a research topic. We also have Cyrus the Younger, who actually brings together this mercenary force and adds it to his own army.
