Nigeria may see a lot of fintech expansions in 2023 owing to the new central bank's cashless policy. Africa has one of the highest rates of mobile penetration in the world, with over 600 million mobile phone subscribers on the continent. COP27 recorded over $2.4 billion in pledges and donations made to Africa's climate financing efforts.
