"I don't think the number is magical in any way," he says. "If you do need it, i don't see that there's any crime in using it." The 90-second timer was an auditory cue to remind him to slow down and focus on his breathing. He also used a stupi timer which would repeat for 90 seconds every time he got into trouble.
