Horror Movies Are Doing So Well After Pandemic

After the pandemic, audiences are eating up either superhero movies or horror movies. Do you think that the reason why horror is doing so spectacularly well at the box office and people are going to the theaters for it is some sort of trauma reaction? I'm sure that there is an element because everybody feels so oppressed in their own way. So bring on the horror so we can live vicariously through horror narratives that aren't directly impacting our lives.
