David Rothkopf: I don't hate inflation as much as most people do. But it is sort of the curse not just of the social scientists, but frankly of the human mind that it's hard to process counterfactuals. He says he thinks in a few years we won't be talking about inflation and will look back with a good chuckle at how bad it could have been. And one of my concerns is that this high inflation may have harmed future prospects for makeup policy.
