Buddhists don't like to conceptualize happiness, so they just say freedom from suffering. Buddhists believe that the awareness of being is happiness itself. If we only refer to our experience now, without reference to a past, we have no actual knowledge or experience of being a man or a woman. We have the experience of being. And in the middle of this presence of awareness, there is this tingling vibration or sensation,. But the sensation itself has no shape, no size, no border, no age, no gender, no nationality.
