Climate Change Is Real in Those Communities That Are Most at Risk
The inflation reduction act includes 50 to $60 billion for environmental justice projects. That's the biggest amount ever directed at communities that bear just proportionate burden of pollution. Catherine Coleman Flowers is co vice chair of the White House Environmental Justice Advisory Council. The Biden administration has created a new advisory panel and Justice 40, an effort to assure that 40% of federal investments flow to disadvantaged communities.
