Jesus Delivers the Bridegroom and Restores the Girl to Life
In this section of matthew nine, we reach the conclusion of the series of ten miracles, or signs, that jesus orms. Here we have a number of events hot on the heels of each other, one thing after another. Both characters connected with israel being women, and christ having just been identified as the bridegroom, might suggest that there's something more going on here. Christ is the one that comes to deliver the bride and to raise daughter jerusalem to new life.
