There's no meaning built into the world that means we generate our own meaning, says robert solomon. I think he talks about breaking as a scientist, for instance, you might think you're going to get to the bottom of things, but whenyo getting to thebottom of things means precisely getting something irrational. And i think my position, personally, is that that mystery itself is a sort of a kind of religious awe. So whe am a sceptic, and i don't think you can, you can get at the truth, there is some sort of, probably quasi religious element to this,. let's say, worship of the mystery which i think skepticism can be.
