Internet Shut Downs Across the World
As 20 21 drew to a close, the international tele communication union released its latest figures on connectivity around the world. Over a third of the global population has still never used the internet. You're much more likely to lack internet access if you're in a developing country. Even if you are supposedly connected, you may be in a nation where your government decides to switch your internet off. The military coup in myan mar and farmers protest in india, both going on at the moment. And the result is internet shut downs in each of those countries.
