Envidia's Kepler Architecture - The Bigger the Dye

When they launched the six 80, it was a much, much smaller dye compared to the preceding five 80. And so what that meant essentially was that en Nvidia had done such a good job of optimizing the kepler architectureCompared to the preceding firmi architecture. They could get away with competing with a m d's top tier product with a mid range product. The lower these numbers typically, the bigger the dye. So you got your wafer tis aboat like, ya, big. And then the cost per wafer is some cost with all the processes that you have to apply to it in order to turn it into finished chips.
