The Differences Between Internal Medicine and Long COVID
As an internist with a primary care panel, most of the time I'm meeting them and they're not in distress. The patients that we see are in a tremendous amount of distress which is why they have sought out care with us. They sound like the kind of clinics that you go home and need to have a beer after. There was certainly when I first started seeing patients, I would see them in these 40 minute visit jokes. And I would see maybe four or five and a half day. By lunchtime, my mind was spinning. And I needed to take a walk. I needed to decompress.
