How to Choose the Right Size Endotracheal Tube for Your Child
One of the most basic things you got to decide is what endotracheal tube size to use. Cuffed or uncuffed in this day and age with micro cuff tubes I would always air on the side of using a cuffed tube because it's easy to control. You're going to want to know your own comfort level and of course talk to the parents about their comfort level think about the procedure and then make a decision. These things can change in real time so being being creative and kind of making that call will be key.
