Harmon: Peterson is taking it as if and because this is like a trope that is broadly functional in storytelling that is meant for a popular audience, it is indicative of something fundamental to human nature. He's not trying to say there's any sort of like psychic resonance with that. It's just kind of an easy way to tell a story, right? Like it's talking scar in the Lion King. There's not a ton going on there, but it works. The qualities described in like he's like, oh, the crone, make it a man and you change the name and it's like, yeah, I don't know.
