The Ward Woman's Coaxing of the Dogs

The dogs had been brought in from the creeks and turned over to Miss Taylor who took them home. After which she sat down on the front porch and began to read the newspaper. While there, she noticed a woman coming towards the cabin. And when the woman got closer, she saw that it was Mrs. Ward. She claims that the Ward woman made a dive for her gate and came on the porch and struck her calling her names.
