The ANC has done quite well you know but we haven't seen a transformation in the economy and so this kind of comes back to the question of what was going on in the earlier periods before the transition to democracy. The national democratic revolution turns out to be capital right. I say that the transition in South Africa was the passive revolution organized from above to absorb or redirect the popular challenge again not the first person to make that argument rightbut it fits quite well with what's out there now.
