In 1983, the convention organizing unions from all over the country. Their convention delegates to support the fight for one member, one vote. And I think that laid the groundwork for this last year when the membership finally did get the opportunity to vote in a one members, one vote election. Now the test will be for them to go back to the rank and file and organize a movement that can take on the big three auto companies.
