American diplomats and their families were rescued from Sudan over the weekend, now that fighting has intensified in the East African country. All operations at the American Embassy in Sudan are suspended and thousands of Americans are said to be left there. Homeland Security Department is looking into how the government can use artificial intelligence to keep the US safe. HomeGoods filed for bankruptcy over the weekend and expects it will have to go out of business by this summer.
