The Importance of Data in Innovation

Innovation in its own term is non-empirical. And we as humans are really designed to create hypothesis and then put efforts to either proving those hypothesis or disproving those hypothesis, right? If a hypothesis is successful, that's where innovation comes from. On the flip side of innovation, data is empirical. You can observe it. You can measure what's going on. And the availability of this data accelerates innovation.
