Rey: Images are not benign. They reinforce beauty norms and standards. And if we don't have the vocabulary to interrogate it, write, or even question it, then we then unconsciously agree to it, and then also perpetuate it. It starts at a very early age. We're actually not thinking about t that we're consuming, because we just assume that they're innocent and benign - which is how oppression is passed along. E so how do you start to give ple of color access to their imagination? How do we accelerate that process in the world?
